When I received the news that I was awarded a grant from the Living Well Foundation, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for this blessing. Several years ago, I was so sad to sell my house and move into assisted living, but I have come to view my community as my new home now, and I am so grateful for the Foundation’s support to be able to stay here. At my community I am not just surrounded by my own furnishings and memories but also by caring staff members who are so lovely and helpful.
